About

My name is Lynn Costa. I am an architecture student at the Univeristy of Oklahoma. I have been in college for 10 years and have had a couple different majors including International Relations, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, and Architecture. Some people lovingly call me a career student who will probably never leave school. I don't mind that M.O. ! College teaches us to open our minds to ideas and concepts that may be different from our own. It also helps students realize what challenges there are in the world that we don't see or have never been exposed to. Heck, we can't fix problems that we don't know exist!

Along with school, I also love art, architecture, animals, photography, politics, and flying! I have 3 hilarious cats named Feist, Fiona, and "Catten". "Catten" got his name because I was an officer at a local hospital and I was dispatched to a call about a kitten stuck in construction debris during a blizzard. When I found the kitten in the rubble, he was very cold, small, skinny, and nearly dead. A few trips to the vet later, Catten was happy, healthy, and growing like a weed. I had every intention of finding him a "forever home," which was why he was never formally named. Four years later, he is still waiting for that home to come along and will only come to "Catten".  I also have two Keeshonds named Jax and Mason, and a beautiful rabbit named Theodore. All of my animals are rescued and were found in dire circumstances. Bob Barker had it correct: "Help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered."
